“One of the guiding principles for me when I see patients is I always believe in giving them options. I've always believed, 'Hey, these are your choices.' I think this is the best, but you can also do B, C, and D. It's about being honest and giving an honest opinion of what the patient needs or doesn't need.
I think that's influenced how I interact with my patients and giving them what is in their best interest. Whenever we see any patient, my number one priority is to provide safe care, whether it be surgical care or non-surgical care.
One of the benefits we offer here is that we have an accredited operating suite in my own facility where we do almost all my procedures. Another advantage is it's more private so you don't have to go to a hospital, go through elevators, or go down hallways. Patients were surprised that they can do these very personal procedures here in a setting that's not in the public eye.”
